JEWELRY AWARD WINNER

Maya Brenner was the winner of the "2002 RISING STAR AWARD" for
Jewelry from Fashion Group International, at their fifth annual awards ceremony.

FGI is a global non-profit organization of industry professionals, with a membership
comprising of the most influencial personalities in the fashion world. The award honors
eight outstanding individuals who are being recognized for their innovation,
creativity & accomplishments in the fashion industry.

The eight categories include: accessories, beauty, communications, interior design,
jewelry, men's apparel, retail, and women's apparel. Maya Brenner, along with the
other honorees, was nominated and voted upon by FGI members. The nominees
were painstakingly cut down to a few finalists in each category. Celebrity judges
then chose the winners from the list of finalists in their category, inlcuding David
Yurman for Accessories, Diane von Furstenberg for Women's Apparel, Donna Hanover
for Communications, and John Bartlett for Men's Apparel. Angela Cummings presented
the Jewelry Award to Maya Brenner (see picture).
